Hip hop Karaoke is the latest in a great line up of events known as Cypher Sundaze that focus on different concepts each week to celebrate this culture of Hip hop and with the mission to Unite the Live Hiphop Events of KL under one roof (The Venue, Pavillion)
She will also be appearing on THE CRIB SHOW, Malaysia's Premier Online Hiphop Radio Show LIVE every Tuesday 8pm - 10pm www.aforadio.com talking about her recent movements in South East Asia and advice for all the up and coming heads, artists and entreprenuers.
It's official! I'll be hosting the first BIG WIG MUSIC FESTIVAL. Finally a festival for the HIPHOP & SOUL heads in Singapore along side the incredibly talented British MC Lady Leshurr. (Seriously check her out, she dope dope dope!) Respects to Big Wig for having 2 Ladies of Hiphop hold down in a time when Hiphop is seriously lacking in strong female representation.
It will be with my greatest pleasure to introduce indisputable lyrically gifted Pharoahe Monch, along with a line up of Hiphop legends like The Pharcyde, Four Dub (Akil the MC of Jurassic 5, Hydro Phonics & Tech 12), the hilarious Cuban Brothers and local heros DJ Ko Flow, Wicked Aura and Kevin Lester. Adding to the positive vibes is my favorite crew in the Lion City, Pushin' On Crew alongside Deejay Theory & Captain Planet.
Skate heads there will be a purpose-built Skateboard Ramp on the grounds together Radikal Forze B-Boy Crew & Live Graffiti Art.
Sending a great BIG thank you to VIMA 2013 team for organizing these awards that bring together artists from all over South East Asia, support independent music and giving me & crew the opportunity to perform live at the awards ceremony. It has been truly amazing experience to be a part of this event and I am so grateful for all the new musical friends I have made and the doors of opportunity that open from this recognition. Sending love to all the fans that took the time to vote and gave me encouragement on the road to the awards. Shouts out to the incredible Butch Diva that made my blue Camo suit especially for the performance of Warriors Tongue and the awards...definitely the bashiest outfit of the night! Finally, LOVE to my bro Ming Towers...this one, two and three is for you. I'll do my best to make you proud and let your legacy live on in the music and good vibes.
