As Lin-sanity continues with yesterday's win over defending champs Dallas Mavericks, I hit the studio at Chronico where the boys were recording a remix in honor of Number 17. "Jump on the track Masia!" Shoot, I have the same last name as homeboy - I'm working hard to be the M. Lin of the music biz.
Masia One on the cover of Legends of the Fame: The Great Canadian Hip-Hop Card Collection sponsored by HiphopCanada.com The cards will be featured in Masia's new video Alright OK! launching Tuesday Feb 21. The cards are handed out to Highschools througout Canada and at key events. Past card covers have featured Canadian legends including Bad News Brown, DJ Law & Choclair.
Just got an email from MTV USA telling me that they would love to add Warriors Tongue to their rotation, but first I have to remove the word "GUNS" from the entire song (which is the hook!) Oh yeah, they weren't feeling the opening scene with the shotgun pointed straight at the camera as well. Is this the same station that runs Jackass and teen mom? I guess reality TV just got too real.
